Already in old Choson (appr. 2300 bc) in today’s Korea, Soo Bak and Tae Gyeon were taught as martial arts.

Since 1965 the name Taekwon-Do exists which was developed by Choi Hong Hi. Taekwon-Do knows two different branches: traditional style and full contact.

1975 Grandmaster Son Jong Ho founded in Klagenfurt the 1st Taekwon-Do school for Austria. Followed by Villach and Lienz in 1995.

Starts with Taekwon-Do in 1984 and learns from his teacher GM Son. He also joins him on national and international classes and demonstrations, as well as two journeys to Korea. End of 2008 he splits with the Classic Taekwon-Do Federation. 2009 founding member of the “Traditional Taekwon-Do Community”
